Shabbat Services and Torah Study
In-Person
This Shabbat, we continue studying the harrowing incident of the “spies.”
Notes about our services:
- In uncertain weather, please check your e-mail; service cancellations will be announced by 6 am.
- Every participant called to the bima for an aliya is expected to wear a kippah and tallit.
Friday evening Occasionally. Please watch our newsletter and Upcoming Events page for notices, or call our office.
Saturday morning: Weekly in our chapel, using the Siddur Eit Ratzon. We begin at 9:30 am with a Preliminary Service, which includes the traditional Morning Blessings and Passages of Praise, as a warm-up for the 10:00 am Shacharit Service, the main part of our prayers. This service is followed by kiddush in the social hall. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us!
Torah study is very important at Temple Shalom. Some Shabbats we have a shortened service followed by an extended study; other times we have a solid study session during the regular service, and even during/following kiddush. Come join us for invigorating, meaningful conversation and good company!
